Hi, I am Coco. Every day I look in the mirror and all I see is a plain, ordinary girl staring back at me. I’m not pretty like the cheerleaders, I’m not smart like the honor students, I’m not athletic like the soccer players. I’m just… me. Plain, boring, unremarkable me. I try to fit in, to be like them, but it’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It just doesn’t work.

I wish I could be confident, to love myself for who I am, but how can I when I don’t even know who that is? Amidst this isolation, I found solace in one thing – drawing. Art had been my refuge since childhood. My creations often garnered praise, though I often wondered about the sincerity behind those compliments. During a final art exam, we were instructed to paint a starry sky, adhering to a template of a deep blue sky dotted with yellow stars and moon. But I believed in the diversity of stars, much like the diversity of people. Therefore, I chose to paint stars in a riot of colors. Predictably, my score barely scraped a pass, but it did not dampen my spirits.

I dream of a world where every girl can shine like a star, each with her unique radiance. This vision fueled the creation of Coco Studio. Here, I strive to provide each girl with nail art that is a reflection of her individuality. I firmly believe that everyone possesses a unique beauty, just like every star has its own distinct light. My hope is that when clients leave Coco Studio, they carry not just beautiful nail art, but also a renewed sense of confidence and a radiant smile.
